Mixing bowl

Shot glasses
- 1 (3-ounce) package black cherry Jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup vodka
- ½ cup cold water
- ¼ teaspoon black food coloring
- 4 black cherries for garnish
Pour the black cherry Jello into a mixing bowl. Add the boiling water and stir until the Jello fully dissolves.
Stir in the cold water, vodka, and black food coloring until the mixture is evenly colored.
Divide the liquid among four shot glasses. Place the glasses in the refrigerator.
Chill for at least four hours until the shots are firm.
Top each shot with one black cherry before serving.
Chill the shot glasses ahead of time so the mixture sets faster and stays darker. If the color looks too light after mixing, add one extra drop of black food coloring before pouring. Use a mild vodka so the cherry flavor stays front and center.
