Candy Corn Layered Cheese and Nut Board
Course Appetizer
Cuisine American
- 8 ounces white cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
- 8 ounces sharp orange cheddar cheese, sliced
- 6 ounces yellow havarti cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 cup whole almonds
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1/4 cup candy corn
- 2 rosemary sprigs
Select a rectangular serving board to create the layered candy corn effect. Place the white cheddar cubes in a row along one short end of the board.
Add the orange cheddar slices in a row next to the white cheese to form the middle layer.
Arrange the yellow havarti cubes in a final row at the opposite end to complete the color bands.
Scatter the almonds and cashews evenly around the outer edges of the cheese layers.
Sprinkle the candy corn lightly over the top of the cheese rows for color and sweetness.
Tuck the rosemary sprigs near the nuts as a simple garnish.
Arrange the cheeses first so the color bands stay clean and visible. If you need more crunch, add a few extra almonds along the sides right before serving. Leftovers keep best when stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
