Candy Corn Trifle with Vanilla Pudding and Berries
Course Dessert
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Serving Glasses

Ingredients

  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup candy corn, divided
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  • Pour the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk into a mixing bowl. Whisk for 2 minutes until the mixture thickens, then let it stand for 5 minutes to set fully.
  • Place a spoonful of vanilla pudding in the bottom of each of four small glasses. Add a layer of sliced strawberries and blueberries, then sprinkle on some of the candy corn.
  • Repeat the layers of pudding, berries, and candy corn until the glasses are nearly full, ending with a pudding layer.
  • Finish each trifle with a dollop of whipped cream and the remaining candy corn scattered on top.

Notes

Prepare the trifles the night before and keep them covered in the fridge so the pudding firms up and the candy corn stays chewy. Use firm, fresh berries to avoid excess liquid in the layers. If the candy corn feels overly sweet on top, reduce the final sprinkle to balance the fruit.
