Caramel Apple Nacho Bites

Sharp knife

Serving platter
- 4 medium apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
- 2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles
Wash the apples and slice each one into thin wedges, removing the core from each piece.
Arrange the apple wedges in a single layer on a large serving platter, overlapping them slightly like nacho chips.
Warm the caramel sauce briefly if it is too thick, then drizzle it evenly over the apple slices.
Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips across the top, followed by the chopped peanuts.
Finish by scattering the Halloween sprinkles over everything and serve right away.
Choose firm apples such as Granny Smith to keep the slices crisp longer after the caramel is added. If you prepare the platter ahead, add the caramel and toppings just before guests arrive so the apples stay fresh and the toppings do not sink in.
