Pitcher
Glasses
Ice Cream Scoop
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 2 cups cold milk
- 4 cups cream soda, chilled
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Chocolate shavings, for garnish
Combine the chocolate syrup and cold milk in a pitcher. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully blended.
Divide the chocolate milk mixture evenly among four tall glasses.
Slowly pour the chilled cream soda into each glass, leaving a little room at the top for the ice cream.
Place one scoop of vanilla ice cream into each glass.
Finish each drink with a swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of chocolate shavings.
Chill the milk and cream soda ahead of time so the drink stays cold and the fizz lasts longer. If the chocolate base tastes too sweet, add a splash more milk before dividing it into the glasses. Serve right away to keep the ice cream from melting too fast into the soda.
