Cobweb Caramel Apple Nachos
Course Snack
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Microwave
  • Serving platter
  • Piping bag or zip-top bag
  • Knife

Ingredients

  • 4 large Granny Smith apples, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate melting wafers
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  • Arrange the apple slices in a single overlapping layer on a large serving platter.
  • Warm the caramel sauce slightly if needed, then drizzle it evenly over the apple slices.
  • Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring between each until smooth.
  • Spoon the melted white chocolate into a piping bag or zip-top bag with a small corner snipped off, then pipe circles over the apples and drag a toothpick through them to form a cobweb pattern.
  • Scatter the mini chocolate chips, chopped pecans, and Halloween sprinkles across the top before serving.

Notes

Serve the nachos right after assembling so the apples stay crisp and the cobweb stays defined. If the white chocolate thickens while piping, warm it for a few seconds to loosen it again. Swap the pecans for crushed pretzels if you want extra crunch without added sweetness.
