Creepy Crawler Bug-Shaped Jelly Bean Board

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups assorted jelly beans
  • 8 black licorice ropes
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup gummy worms

Instructions
 

  • Place the charcuterie board on a flat surface and spread the jelly beans into small clusters of three to five beans each to form bug bodies.
  • Cut the black licorice ropes into short segments with kitchen scissors and press three or four segments into each jelly bean cluster to create legs and antennae.
  • Add two mini chocolate chips to the front of each cluster as eyes, pressing them lightly into the jelly beans so they stay in place.
  • Scatter the gummy worms around the bug shapes to fill empty spaces and complete the crawler theme.

Notes

Cut the licorice into even pieces ahead of time so the legs match in length and the bugs look balanced on the board. Keep extra jelly beans nearby in case any shapes need a quick refill during the event.
