Ghost Banana Pops with Yogurt Coating
Course Snack
Cuisine American
Baking sheet
mixing bowl
popsicle sticks
parchment paper
- 4 medium bananas
- 2 cups vanilla yogurt
- 4 popsicle sticks
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Peel the bananas and insert one popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana.
Pour the vanilla yogurt into a bowl. Hold each banana by the stick and dip it fully into the yogurt, turning to coat all sides.
Place the coated bananas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Press two mini chocolate chips into the upper part of each banana for eyes and one or two more below them to form a mouth.
Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and leave the pops until the yogurt coating is firm, about two hours.
Use a thicker Greek-style vanilla yogurt if you want the coating to set with fewer drips. The pops keep well in a freezer bag for up to a week. Let them sit at room temperature for two minutes before serving so the coating softens slightly for easier biting.
