Knife

Small bowl
Baking sheet
Freezer
- 2 large bananas
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 4 popsicle sticks
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
Peel the bananas and cut each one in half crosswise to make four pieces.
Insert one popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half.
Spoon the vanilla yogurt into a small bowl and stir it until smooth.
Dip each banana pop into the yogurt, turning it to coat all sides evenly.
Place the coated pops on a parchment-lined tray and add mini chocolate chips to form eyes and a mouth on each one.
Transfer the tray to the freezer and leave the pops until the yogurt is firm, about two hours.
Freeze the pops on a flat tray first so the yogurt sets without running, then move them to a freezer bag for storage. If the yogurt feels too thick for easy dipping, stir in a teaspoon of milk to loosen it. The chocolate chips hold best when pressed in right after dipping while the coating is still soft.
