Graveyard Dirt Pudding Parfaits

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 16 Oreo cookies, divided
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 8 gummy worms

Instructions
 

  • Pour the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk into a mixing bowl. Whisk for two minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Place 12 Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them into fine crumbs with a rolling pin.
  • Set out four clear glasses or jars. Spoon a layer of pudding into each glass, followed by a layer of crushed Oreo crumbs. Repeat the layers once more.
  • Top each parfait with a dollop of whipped topping and a sprinkle of the remaining crushed Oreo crumbs.
  • Press two gummy worms into the top of each parfait so they appear to be coming out of the cookie layer.

Notes

Crush the cookies right before assembly so they stay crisp. If you want taller parfaits, use smaller glasses and add an extra pudding layer. The parfaits hold up well in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
