Green Apple Witch's Brew Jello Shots

Mixing bowl
Saucepan
Shot cups
- 1 box (3 oz) lime gelatin
- 1 cup green apple juice, divided
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 plastic shot cups
Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. Pour the boiling water into a mixing bowl and add the lime gelatin. Stir for two minutes until the gelatin fully dissolves.
Add 3/4 cup of the green apple juice to the bowl and stir to combine. Set the remaining 1/4 cup green apple juice aside for later use if needed to adjust consistency.
Pour the mixture evenly into the four plastic shot cups. Place the cups in the refrigerator and chill for at least four hours until the jello sets firmly.
Chill the green apple juice ahead of time so the mixture cools faster once combined. If the set jello feels too firm, a quick stir with a small spoon before serving loosens it slightly without affecting the apple flavor. These shots hold well in the fridge for up to two days when covered.
