- 1 package (3 oz) lemon gelatin
- 1 package (3 oz) orange gelatin
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water, divided
- 1/2 cup cold water, divided
- 1/2 cup vodka, divided
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 4 shot glasses
Place the lemon gelatin in a small bowl. Add 1/3 cup boiling water and stir until fully dissolved. Stir in 2 tablespoons cold water and 2 tablespoons vodka. Pour evenly into the four shot glasses to form the bottom yellow layer. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until set.
Place the orange gelatin in a clean small bowl. Add 1/3 cup boiling water and stir until dissolved. Stir in 2 tablespoons cold water and 2 tablespoons vodka. Pour this mixture over the set yellow layer in each glass. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
Place the unflavored gelatin in a small bowl. Add the remaining 1/3 cup boiling water and stir until dissolved. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, remaining 2 tablespoons cold water, and remaining 2 tablespoons vodka. Pour this white mixture over the orange layer in each glass. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until fully set.
Chill the glasses for 10 minutes before starting so the first layer sets faster. Use room-temperature vodka to help the gelatin dissolve smoothly without lumps. If the white layer seems too thick after mixing, add an extra tablespoon of cold water before pouring.
