Matcha Green Witch's Cauldron Cocktail
Course Drink
Cuisine Fusion
- 4 teaspoons matcha powder
- 8 ounces vodka
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Place the matcha powder in a small bowl with 1/4 cup of the coconut milk. Whisk until the matcha dissolves completely and forms a smooth paste.
Pour the remaining coconut milk, vodka, lime juice, and honey into a large pitcher. Add the matcha paste and stir until the honey melts and everything combines evenly.
Add the ice cubes to the pitcher and stir gently for 30 seconds to chill the mixture.
Strain or ladle the cocktail into four glasses, leaving the ice behind if preferred. Top each glass with a few fresh mint leaves.
Use full-fat coconut milk for the creamiest result, and stir the pitcher again before serving each round since the matcha can settle. If the drink tastes too earthy, add an extra teaspoon of honey to the next batch. Skip the vodka for a nonalcoholic version by replacing it with extra coconut milk and a splash of lime.
