Pomegranate Vampire Blood Jello Shots

Ingredients
- 1 cup pomegranate juice, divided
- 1 (3 oz) box cherry gelatin
- 3/4 cup vodka
- 2 tablespoons grenadine
Instructions
- Bring 3/4 cup pomegranate juice to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in the cherry gelatin until fully dissolved. Add the remaining 1/4 cup pomegranate juice, the vodka, and the grenadine. Stir until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined. Pour into small cups or molds. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
Notes
Chill the vodka ahead of time so the mixture cools faster after the gelatin dissolves. If the shots taste too tart, stir in an extra teaspoon of grenadine before pouring. These set firmly enough to unmold but hold best in the original cups for serving.
