Mixing Bowl
Serving Platter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 pretzel sticks
- 1 cup round crackers
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Place the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, paprika, garlic powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.
Divide the cheese mixture into four equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball shape with your hands.
Sprinkle a light layer of paprika over each ball and roll gently to coat the surface for an orange color.
Insert two pretzel sticks into the top of each ball to act as stems. Place the balls on a serving platter with space between them.
Scatter the round crackers around the cheese balls on the platter. Sprinkle the chopped parsley between the balls to create vine details.
Make the cheese balls a few hours ahead and keep them covered in the fridge so they firm up before adding the pretzels. Swap the parsley for dill if you prefer a different green herb. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days and let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving again.
