Pumpkin Patch Dirt Pudding Cups

Ingredients
- 1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 12 Oreo cookies
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 12 candy pumpkins
Instructions
- Pour the pudding mix and cold milk into a mixing bowl. Whisk for two minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Place the Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin until they form coarse crumbs.
- Spoon a layer of pudding into each of four clear cups. Add a layer of cookie crumbs on top.
- Repeat the layers once more so each cup has pudding on the bottom, crumbs in the middle, and crumbs on top.
- Add a small dollop of whipped topping to each cup. Place three candy pumpkins on the topping to create the pumpkin patch look.
Notes
Let kids crush the cookies and place the candy pumpkins themselves so they feel involved in building the patch. Use clear cups so the layers show through. If you need to make the cups ahead, add the whipped topping and candy pumpkins right before serving to keep the crumbs crisp.
