Purple Grape Monster Mash Fizz

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups purple grape juice
  • 1 cup frozen purple grapes
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Gummy monster candies for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place the frozen purple grapes in a pitcher and mash them lightly with a spoon to break up a few pieces.
  • Pour the purple grape juice into the pitcher and stir to combine with the mashed grapes.
  • Add the lemon-lime soda and stir gently to keep the bubbles from going flat.
  • Drop in the ice cubes and give the mixture one more light stir.
  • Pour into glasses and add a few gummy monster candies to each serving.

Notes

Mash the grapes just enough to release some color and flavor without turning them into a puree. Add the soda right before serving so the fizz lasts longer. If you need to make it ahead, keep the soda separate and stir it in at the last minute.
