Skeleton Bone White Chocolate Pretzel Rods
Course Snack
Cuisine American
Baking sheet
Microwave-safe bowl
Parchment paper
- 12 pretzel rods
- 8 ounces white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
Place the white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second bursts, stirring after each one, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
Hold one pretzel rod by the uncoated end and dip it into the melted white chocolate, covering about three-quarters of its length. Let excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
Set the dipped rod on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining rods.
Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.
Use good-quality white chocolate chips so the coating stays glossy after it sets. If the kitchen runs warm, move the baking sheet to the refrigerator for 10 minutes to speed hardening without affecting texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
