Course Drink
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Glasses
  • Spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cherry juice
  • 2 cups chocolate milk
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 4 maraschino cherries

Instructions

  • Chill four clear glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes so the layers stay distinct.
  • Pour 1/2 cup cherry juice into each glass.
  • Slowly pour 1/2 cup chocolate milk over the back of a spoon into each glass to create a clean layer on top of the cherry juice.
  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup over the surface of each drink in a spiral pattern, then drag a toothpick from the center outward to form the spiderweb design.
  • Top each glass with one maraschino cherry and serve right away.

Notes

Use cold ingredients straight from the fridge to help the layers hold. If the chocolate milk starts to sink, pour it even more slowly over the spoon. The maraschino cherries can be skipped if you prefer a simpler finish.
