Spiderweb Salted Caramel and Pretzel Rod Board
Course Dessert
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowls
  • Piping bag
  • Serving platter

Ingredients

  • 12 pretzel rods
  • 2 cups salted caramel sauce
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons black candy melts
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 1/2 cup candy-coated chocolates

Instructions

  • Spread the salted caramel sauce evenly across a serving platter or board to create a smooth base layer.
  • Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag or zip-top bag with a small corner snipped off, then pipe a spiderweb pattern over the caramel.
  • Melt the black candy melts in the same way as the white chocolate, then pipe small spider shapes onto the web or along the edge of the caramel.
  • Sprinkle the flaky sea salt evenly over the caramel surface.
  • Arrange the pretzel rods around the caramel and scatter the candy-coated chocolates in any open spaces on the board.

Notes

Pipe the spiderweb just before guests arrive so the lines stay sharp. If the caramel starts to firm up, a quick 10-second microwave warm-up brings it back to a dip-friendly texture. The black candy melts can be swapped for black gel food coloring mixed into a small amount of white chocolate if that is what you have on hand.
