Spooky Caramel Apple Nachos
Course Snack
Cuisine American
Cutting board
Sharp knife
Microwave-safe bowl
Serving platter
- 4 large Granny Smith apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons black and orange sprinkles
- 12 candy eyeballs
Core the apples and cut them into thin wedges. Arrange the wedges in a single overlapping layer on a large serving platter.
Warm the caramel sauce in a microwave-safe bowl for 20 seconds until it is pourable. Drizzle it evenly over the apple slices.
Scatter the mini chocolate chips across the caramel layer while it is still warm so they soften slightly.
Sprinkle the black and orange sprinkles over the top. Finish by placing the candy eyeballs in a scattered pattern for a spooky touch.
Use tart apples to keep the sweetness balanced. Serve the nachos right away so the apple slices stay crisp. If you need to make them ahead, keep the toppings separate and add them just before serving.
