Course Drink
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Whisk
  • Serving Glasses

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Apple slices for garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the apple cider, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves to a large pot.
  • Whisk the mixture over medium heat until the pumpkin fully blends in and the liquid turns smooth.
  • Continue heating for 5 minutes, stirring now and then, until the punch is warm but not boiling.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and pour the punch into four glasses.
  • Add apple slices and a cinnamon stick to each glass before serving.

Notes

Whisk the pumpkin well at the start to avoid any lumps in the finished drink. If the punch tastes too sweet, add a splash more cider to balance it. Leftovers store in the fridge for two days and reheat gently on the stove without boiling.
