Turkey Cranberry Pinwheels in Tortilla Wraps
Course Appetizer
Cuisine American
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 12 oz thinly sliced deli turkey
- 2 cups baby spinach leaves
Place the softened cream cheese and cranberry sauce in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread about one-quarter of the cream cheese mixture over the entire tortilla.
Arrange one-quarter of the turkey slices in a single layer over the spread. Scatter one-quarter of the spinach leaves on top of the turkey.
Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other, pressing gently to keep the filling in place. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
Use a sharp knife to slice each rolled tortilla into 1-inch pieces. Arrange the pinwheels on a serving plate.
Chill the rolled tortillas for 30 minutes before slicing so the pinwheels hold their shape better. If the cranberry sauce is very chunky, mash a few berries first to help the spread go on evenly. These work best with large, flexible tortillas rather than smaller or stiff ones.
