Vampire Bite Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes
Course Appetizer
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Sharp Knife
  • Spoon
  • Serving Plate

Ingredients

  • 20 cherry tomatoes
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Instructions

  • Slice a small slit across the top of each cherry tomato to create the vampire bite shape, then use a small spoon to scoop out the seeds and pulp carefully.
  • Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and stir in the minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and olive oil until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
  • Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each prepared tomato until the filling reaches the top of the slit.
  • Arrange the stuffed tomatoes on a serving plate and drizzle a small amount of balsamic glaze over each one to resemble blood from the bite marks.

Notes

Chill the stuffed tomatoes for 15 minutes before serving so the filling firms up and holds its shape. If the cream cheese feels too thick, add a few drops of olive oil to loosen it without changing the flavor. Skip the balsamic glaze if you prefer a milder taste and use a light sprinkle of paprika instead for color.
