Vampire Garlic Breadsticks
Course Appetizer
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Pastry brush

Ingredients

  • 1 (11-ounce) tube refrigerated breadstick dough
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Open the tube of dough and separate into individual breadsticks. Place them on the prepared baking sheet with space between each one.
  • Stir together the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt in a small bowl until combined.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each breadstick.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the breadsticks turn golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and serve warm with the marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

Use the full amount of fresh garlic for the boldest flavor that matches the vampire theme. The marinara works as a simple blood-red dip and should be warmed slightly before serving. Leftovers reheat best in a 350 degree F oven for a few minutes to bring back the crisp texture.
