Vanilla Nutmeg Hot Gin Toddy

Cuisine American
Saucepan
Measuring Spoons
Mugs
- 4 cups milk
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 8 ounces gin
- Cinnamon sticks for garnish
Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it steams but does not boil. Stir in the honey until fully dissolved. Add the vanilla extract and ground nutmeg, then whisk to combine evenly. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the gin. Divide the mixture among four mugs. Add a cinnamon stick to each mug for garnish.
Use whole milk for a richer texture, or swap in oat milk if you prefer a lighter version. Grate a little fresh nutmeg on top right before serving to boost the aroma without overpowering the vanilla. This drink tastes best made fresh, but you can reheat leftovers gently on the stove while stirring to keep the gin flavor balanced.
