Baking sheet
Oven
Parchment paper
- 8-ounce wheel of brie cheese
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- Crackers or baguette slices for serving
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the brie wheel on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the center softens and the top begins to melt slightly.
Remove the brie from the oven. Drizzle the honey evenly over the top while it is still warm.
Sprinkle the thyme leaves and chopped walnuts across the surface. Let it rest for 2 minutes so the flavors settle.
Transfer to a serving plate and offer with crackers or baguette slices on the side.
Serve the brie right away while the center stays gooey. If the walnuts need more crunch, toast them lightly in a dry pan before adding them on top. Leftovers can be covered and refrigerated, then gently rewarmed in a low oven to restore the texture without separating the honey.
