Caramel Apple Nachos with Halloween Sprinkles
Course Snack
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Knife
  • Serving platter

Ingredients

  • 4 large Granny Smith apples
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • ¼ cup Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  • Core and slice the apples into thin wedges. Place them in a single layer on a large serving platter.
  • Warm the caramel sauce slightly if it is too thick to drizzle. Pour it evenly over the apple slices.
  • Scatter the Halloween sprinkles across the top so every section gets some color and crunch.
  • Serve right away while the apples remain crisp.

Notes

Choose firm apples and slice them just before serving to limit browning. If the caramel cools and thickens on the platter, give it a quick stir before the next batch. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge, but the apples soften after a few hours so they are best eaten fresh.
