Add the chicken pieces, diced potatoes, corn, chicken broth, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and thyme to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.

Stir in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts into the sauce.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
Pour in the milk and stir just until a soft dough forms. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the hot filling in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high for 1 more hour until the biscuit topping is cooked through and no longer doughy in the center.
