Mixing bowls
Whisk
4 clear cups
- 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- Yellow food coloring
- Orange food coloring
- 1 cup whipped topping, divided
- Candy corn for garnish
Whisk the pudding mix and cold milk in a bowl until smooth. Let it sit for five minutes to thicken.
Divide the thickened pudding into two smaller bowls. Add a few drops of yellow food coloring to one bowl and stir until the color is even. Add orange food coloring to the second bowl and stir until even.
Spoon the yellow pudding into the bottom of four clear cups, using about one-third of the mixture per cup.
Add a layer of the orange pudding on top of the yellow layer in each cup.
Top each cup with a spoonful of whipped topping. Add a few pieces of candy corn on the whipped topping for garnish.
Use clear plastic or glass cups so the three layers stay visible. If you make the pudding ahead, keep the colored portions in separate covered bowls in the fridge and assemble the cups right before serving to keep the layers neat. Swap the candy corn for a few sprinkles if you prefer a softer bite.
