Skeleton Bone White Chocolate Pretzels
Course Dessert
Cuisine American
Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Piping bag

Ingredients

  • 12 pretzel rods
  • 2 cups white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Place the white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Dip each pretzel rod into the melted white chocolate, leaving about one inch uncovered at one end. Let excess chocolate drip off, then lay the coated pretzel on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Melt the dark chocolate melting wafers in a separate bowl using the same microwave method. Spoon the melted dark chocolate into a piping bag or zip-top bag with a small corner cut off.
  • Pipe small lines and dots on the white chocolate coating to create simple bone shapes at both ends of each pretzel. Let the chocolate set at room temperature until firm.

Notes

Use pretzel rods that are straight and unbroken so the bone shapes hold together well. If the white chocolate starts to thicken while dipping, warm it briefly in the microwave for a few seconds. Store finished pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. Dark chocolate details can be swapped for black candy melts if a stronger contrast is preferred.
